Shipping FAQ
Q. What shipping companies do you use?
A. We ship primarily via UPS and cannot ship to a P.O. Box. We do ship via the United States Postal Service (USPS) for AP, AE, AS, PR and AA.
Q. How can I track an order shipped to an APO or AE address?
A. Unfortunately, our shipping options to military personnel stationed outside the US are very limited. Regular commercial shippers such as UPS and FedEx cannot deliver to these addresses.
USPS delivers the package to the APO or AE address stateside where it becomes untraceable until it finds its way through the military’s own parcel delivery service to the addressee. Our shipments are sent via Registered mail where it allows and Priority mail where it does not. There is a normal 2-4 day delay on the package to leave our facility before reaching USPS after email confirmation of order fulfillment.
There is no way for us to provide a guaranteed delivery time, but if the package does not arrive after 35 days, we can file an insurance claim with USPS. We will provide a Registered tracking number that can be tracked at their website but even that will show limited information depending on where the addressee is stationed.
Q. How long does ground shipping take?
A. Ground shipping typically takes five business days from the time of shipment.
Q. When will my order ship if it is shown as "In Stock"?
A. If the item you ordered is shown as "In Stock" then it will usually ship the same day (Monday-Friday) if ordered before 1:00 pm Mountain Time or the next day if placed after 1:00 pm. Orders for "In Stock" items placed over the weekend or Holidays will ship on the next business day.
Q. When will my order ship if it is shown as "Available"?
A. Items shown as "Available" are typically items that we either have on order or can order directly from the vendor for shipment to you. Lead times for these items are typically 2-7 business days before we will be able to ship to you. These are often items that are in high demand and your order today guarantees that you will receive your order as soon as we have it in-stock.
The 2-7 day lead time for us to receive and ship back out to you an item marked "Available" is an estimate based upon our experience with our vendors. Shipments from our vendors sometimes exceed this 2-7 day window and there is often very little we can do to expedite the process.
Although we are in constant communication with our vendors to maintain accurate an availability status, occasionally an item marked "Available" on our site may have become backordered at the factory or even discontinued without our knowledge. We usually only learn of this when we attempt to place an order with the vendor for the item. In this case, we will contact you immediately with the option to change or cancel your order. We can usually provide an estimated delivery date for a backordered item, but we are completely at the mercy of the manufacturers in terms of actual delivery dates.
